Der powerbook blog hat sich, wie an anderer Stelle schon bemerkt, zurecht darüber beschwert, dass viele Blogs den Titel des Eintrags nicht im Seitentitel anzeigen. So wird das Setzen von Bookmarks mit sprechendem Titel erschwert. Ich muss zugeben, dass ich daran bisher auch noch nicht gedacht habe, dabei ist die Realisierung mit pmachine sehr einfach. Nachfolgend habe ich ein kleines Tutorial zusammengestellt. Er funktioniert mit beiden Versionen: pmachine free und pmachine pro.
Nützlich ist folgender pmachine Tag:
<?php show_field($id,"which"); ?>
Er gibt den Inhalt eines Feldes des aktuell angezeigten Eintrags aus. Welches Feld zurückgegeben werden soll, wird mit dem 2. Parameter festgelegt. Hier kann der Name jedes Feldes eines Eintrags verwendet werden. In diesem Fall also “title”. Da er die Übergabe einer ID über die URL erfordert, kann er aber nur auf Seiten mit einem einzelnen Eintrag verwendet werden, z.B. Comments oder More. Die Verwendung im title-Tag ist sowieso nur sinnvoll auf Seiten mit nur einem Eintrag.
Für “which” muss “title” eingegeben werden. Der so konfigurierte Tag wird zwischen die title-Tags der entsprechenden Vorlagenseiten, in der Standardkonfiguration comments.php und more.php, kopiert. Damit ergibt sich insgesamt folgender titel-Tag:
